Oase Combination Filters
Combination filters are essentially the merging of two technologies, rotary drum pre-filters and moving bed biological filters into one combined unit. This saves space, plumbing complexity and the associated costs, and also of course the risks of a mismatch between two differing types of filters which may not work well together. In this way the whole filter becomes an automatic system, with virtually no maintenance required, since drum filters are almost 100% automatic in operation, and moving bed technology has proven to be just about the most efficient form of biological filtration available, being virtually maintenance free and very efficient. Oase Premium DF-L Moving Bed Module
The Oase Premium DF-L moving bed modules are designed to be fitted after the Oase Profi Drum Premium DF-L filter, but can also be used with many types of suitable drum or pre-filter. They are designed also to be daisy chained together so that one, two or more modules can be fitted together in-line to complete a filter system to cope with all sizes of ponds The module offers ultra efficient biological filtration, as the modules are supplied with 50 litres of Helix 15 bio media and are comfigured wth large airstones already in place and filter grids so that the units can be installed very quickly. They feature 6" (150mm) inlet and outlets complete with rubber fittings ready for connection and by using rubber reducers the final outlets can be simply be reduced to 2" or 1.5" ready for connection to filter pumps. Oase Premium XL Moving Bed module
Automatic Water Top Float switch
This super but simple auto-top up float switch can be fitted even in the tightest of spaces, and was designed originally for use in the Oase range of drum filters. This neat and adjustable float valve, easily located in a filter tank or similar, acts as a simple switch to activate a valve which turns on and off the water supply as required. The float can be adjusted from a fully horizontal to fully vertical position giving a huge amount of flexiblity to the installation point.
